As Delivery Manager, you’ll assist with the successful delivery of the company’s projects across AI, Analytics and Engineering on Google Cloud. This position will suit someone with proven experience in a delivery manager role at a consultancy or SaaS business managing the full delivery cycle including:


  • Project Execution and Delivery. Weekly priorities and goals need to be set from the beginning
  • Project Reports and Communication
  • Project Issues and Resolutions
  • Managing Project Scope and Delivery
  • Project Closure


Your responsibilities as Delivery Manager:

  • Manage project execution and delivery, scope, resourcing & staffing, reports and communication, issues and resolutions, project financials, and customer satisfaction - to ensure joint success for the customer and Datatonic.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction across all projects by maintaining best-in-class project management and delivery standards.
  • Work together with other Team Leads to manage team utilisation and planning for future projects.
  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Apply change and risk management measures
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s delivery processes
  • Assess project performance and aim to maximize ROI
  • Resolve issues with projects going out of scope
  • Work alongside our Agile Coach to maintain tooling and oversee company-wide adoption, enabling consistent and accurate project tracking and reporting across the business.

Requirements

  • Multiple years’ project management/delivery management experience in an international environment, some of which within a Tier I/II management consultancy, or SaaS provider.
  • Previous experience with data and/or analytics projects.
  • Proven senior stakeholder management experience (client-side and internal).
  • Prior experience in driving the industry-standard framework implementation within an organisation (e.g. Agile / Scrum).
  • A natural communicator with an engaging and considerate approach.
  • A supportive, committed, and empathetic attitude in the performance of daily duties.
  • Desire to join a diverse, multinational team of ML & AI enthusiasts.

Bonus points for (but not essential!):

  • Prior experience in start-up / scale-up.
  • Multi-lingual (especially but not limited to German and French).
  • Experience in building a team of project managers and a delivery practice in a consultancy.
  • Agile Project Management, Prince2 or Scrum certification.
