As Google Cloud's premier partner in AI, at Datatonic we provide world-class businesses with cutting-edge data solutions in the cloud. We help clients take leading technology to the limits by combining our expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and analytics. Datatonic Academy is our new venture to train exceptional individuals in Data and AI, to help them turbo-charge their careers with Google Cloud.
With courses covering a range of roles including Machine Learning Engineer, Data Engineer and BI Analyst, the Academy offers specialist training to help enterprise businesses upskill their existing teams. The Academy also provides recruitment of and training for new talent, both for Datatonic and its clients.
To fuel our learner acquisition, we require a highly enthusiastic Recruiter to source candidates for Graduate and Associate level roles in the company and to coordinate day-to-day recruiting activities. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a company of highly talented people across many different technical and commercial functions, at an early stage of the Academy’s evolution. Not only will you have a great foundation to develop your Recruiting/HR career, but you'll also get high exposure to the AI, Machine Learning and Analytics ecosystem, so you'll quickly develop your knowledge in this area!
As our first in-house recruiter you will work closely with the Academy’s founding team to develop our recruiting strategy as the business grows. Your focus will be on sourcing exceptional Graduates and Associate level candidates for the bi-annual Graduate scheme intake and other Associate level hiring intakes, to be developed.
This includes liaising with other internal teams, e.g. Account Management, and coordinating upskilling course customisation to suit our clients’ specific needs.
Reporting to the Co-Founder, this role will be critical in supporting and nurturing the business growth - it offers the opportunity to have a real impact on the trajectory of the Academy venture. For that reason, this is not a ‘passenger’ role. Proactivity, opinions and ideas are essential and encouraged - we want to build a team that is passionate about helping people turbo-charge their career in tech and excited to make it happen.
