Resource Manager (PMO)

We are seeking a results-driven resource manager to assign staff to our projects. You will be determining personnel requirements, providing ongoing support to project managers, and collaborating on resource management with multiple teams within our organisation. This position will suit someone with proven experience in a technical consulting environment who would like to use their skillset in a dynamic, technology-driven established start-up. A first-class resource manager will be someone who can accurately assess resource needs and provide sufficient capacity to realise projects' goals.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assigning available staff to projects based on their skills and experience.
• Providing project managers with ongoing resource management and related support.
• Monitoring employee utilisation, workload, and overtime hours.
• Mitigating resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff.
• Cooperate with all areas of the business, clients, and partners to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify project blockers and find mutually agreeable solutions.
• Diligently track project progress and monitor deliverables and milestones, whilst being able to clearly communicate project status updates.
• Assisting with HR-processes and coordinating staff training needs

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Project Management and/or HR environment experience in an international environment, preferably with a management consultancy or professional services company.
• Previous experience in a technical environment, working with engineers, analysts, data scientists, etc.
• A natural communicator with an engaging and considerate approach.
• Very strong stakeholder management experience.
• Proficiency with project management/resource management software.
• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
• Desire to join a diverse, multinational team of AI & Cloud Engineering enthusiasts.

Bonus points for (but not essential!):

• Prior experience in start-up / scale-up.
• Agile Project Management, Prince2 or Scrum experience
• Multi-lingual.
