We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of the business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing and forecasting the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.

We are looking for a reliable professional with broad knowledge to all accounting, financial and business principles. You'll be a strategic thinker and effective leader who can make the most profitable decisions. The goal is to guide the company on its growth trajectory with long-term sustainable financial success. This position will suit a finance professional with a background in professional services of a £20m+ business.

Your core goals as Finance Director:

  • Part of the senior leadership team, advising the COO & CEO to ensure the long-term financial success of the company
  • Accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasting
  • Leading annual and quarterly budgeting and controlling thereof
  • Efficient and smooth-running core finance processes

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks
  • Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and forecast future headwinds
  • Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel
  • Consolidation of group accounts & quarterly board reporting
  • Ensure tax compliance across geographies and adherence to financial laws and guidelines with support from our outsourced Management Accountants
  • Oversee all audit and internal control operations
  • Oversee the company’s finance IT systems


  • Proven experience as director of finance or similar role in a professional services environment
  • Led the finance function in a £20m+ business
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely
  • Knowledge and experience in Google Sheets and/or Excel
  • BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • ACCA/CIMA or other relevant qualification is a plus
