We're rapidly growing across all commercial functions, and looking for energetic and organised Business Development Representatives (German-speaking), based in Switzerland. You'll be tasked with prospecting, nurturing, and qualifying new business opportunities through inbound and outbound activities. You'll also gain a unique opportunity to fast-track your career to manage end-to-end sales, in the rapidly evolving sector of Cloud Data + AI.

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Nurture, qualify and advance leads from inbound and outbound channels
  • Identify prospects, conduct outreach, and source new business opportunities
  • Document opportunities (company and decision-maker profile, business need, opportunity, estimated budget) with diligence and insight
  • Work closely with Account Managers to identify strategic targets
  • Interact with prospects, represent the Datatonic brand, and clearly articulate Datatonic’s offering through phone/video calls, emails and social media platforms
  • Achieve weekly activity target of prospects, leads and early stage opportunities
  • Gain the skills and experience to advance your sales career, with quick progression, toward end-to-end sales role for Corporate & Digital Native accounts

Requirements

  • Experience, ideally 2 years, in a similar role (business development, inside sales, telesales) in a highly dynamic environment (technology / SaaS, high-growth scale-up)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Strong understanding of business and leadership development best practices
  • Commercially minded, resilient, persistent, and detail-oriented individual
  • Understands what motivates people, and tailor messages accordingly
  • A fast learner with a demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Thrives in highly collaborative environments, building rapport with commercial, technical, marketing and partner teams
  • Enjoys high energy, high pace, dynamic, and agile ways of working
  • Have a real passion for technology, ‘infectious’ in your enthusiasm for ML, AI, Big Data and Analytics topics!
  • Can be based in our Nyon office or from home office
